And the print? The design, created by artist Marcin Franczak, is a shared skyline – Wrocław, Szczecin, Katowice, Poznań, Warsaw – all in one picture. And that's just the beginning. ;) Instead of traditional tenement houses, we focused on skyscrapers. "Admiring 19th-century architecture is easy; anyone can do it. However, I prefer less obvious buildings, those that are less conventionally appealing, that stand out from their surroundings, are more demanding, and fight for their place in our landscape. When designing the print for Riska, I didn't expect that examples of contemporary architecture, taken out of context, would play so interestingly when shown side by side," says Marcin. He created a drafting-style composition that catches the eye and is also comfortable to wear. The vertical lines in black and white emphasize the graphic nature of the buildings and, at the same time, slim the figure. Speaking of figures – how many buildings do you recognize? ;)
