IT SHOULD BE COMFORTABLE
Good design is our obsession. Instead of using a stationary mannequin, we measure everything on real people who, when testing our garments, don’t just stand upright—they walk, jump, slouch, and bend over—they do everything you do in clothes in everyday life, not just in a tailor’s workshop. We test our designs on a wide range of body types—our testers range from 158 to 180 cm in height and have very diverse figures. A design isn’t finished until it fits perfectly on every body type and everyone feels comfortable in it.
The result? Incredible comfort—even in the most elegant pieces. And that sense of satisfaction when we hear that when you put on a Riska, it feels like it was made just for you. ;)

QUALITY IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING
Our obsession with design perfection extends to everything—we love nothing more than hearing at the outset that something “can’t be done” and coming up with ideas that no one has ever tried before. It’s hard—which means it’s going to be interesting.
We love prototyping: designing our own prints, fabrics, zippers, and buttons. We develop our color palettes with fair, Slavic complexions in mind, because if something makes a pale complexion look beautiful, it will always look great on a tanned one, too. We’re obsessed with fabrics that are comfortable to wear. We only like fabrics that are incredibly soft and so durable that you can design clothes from them that you’ll want to wear forever.

WE'VE ALWAYS BEEN SEWING IN POLAND
From the very beginning, we’ve been sewing everything in Poland. We work with local knitting mills and fabric suppliers, who always tell us that no one has such exacting quality standards as Risk. ;)
But it’s worth it—it’s so much more pleasant to wear clothing that’s been sewn with artisanal attention to the quality of every single detail—right here, in Poland. A dress like this simply has better energy, and you’ll get more pleasure from wearing it. For many years to come.
