It was RISK's first long skirt. So ruffled that our sewing factory didn't give it a chance. Having seen the prototype they claimed no one would ever buy it. For the last three years it has been one of our top three selling products - regardless the season. We didn't expect this skirt to be so successful. Not particularly economical 6 metres of tulle, tight-waisted, calf-length... Turns out that things completely not in fashion today are paradoxically the trendiest ones. Every single day someone asks for this dress in our shop.More
Initially we made it for a certain conductor's wedding who wanted to wear it at the afterparty. It was such a big success that, after a few adjustments, we decided to include it in our collection. We left it padded, only added a zip instead of a button. The tailcoat attracted the biggest attention on our first Paris Fashion Fair - Jason from Fab (pictured) loved it so much that a) he didn't want to take it off b) altogether ordered 750 pieces of our clothing. To be ready within 2 weeks... which was a bit of a challenge but we managed!More
